EU4Youth SEAG initiative fosters youth employment and societal change through the Social Entrepreneurship in border regions of Armenia and Georgia. Project supports development of the entrepreneurial potential of young people from Armenia and Georgia in the field of social entrepreneurship, notably with a view to contributing to social cohesion, employment, inclusion, and reduction of inequalities.

Main project objective/s (max. 4 objectives – select the most important ones):

 

Project aims to provide creative young people from Armenia and Georgia with the necessary knowledge and skills to establish sustainable social enterprises and supports the development of a favourable ecosystem for social enterprises to develop and prosper in Armenia and Georgia.

Actions in brief:

 

Improve skills, knowledge, and capacities related to social entrepreneurship for youth to have a measurable and sustainable impact on the economic growth opportunities for youth social entrepreneurs, with targeted capacity-building actions.

Thrive youth social entrepreneurs through increased access to finance, business support structures, networks, and key market actors. Enable social enterprises and aspiring entrepreneurs to increase productivity, make new hires for growth, reduce their risk profiles as potential microloan recipients, and improve sales and profitability; thus building the socio-economic welfare of their communities and young people. 

Strengthening ecosystem for youth-focused social entrepreneurship in Armenia and Georgia by

refining specific external, sectoral, perception and legislative barriers in the enabling environment that prevent social enterprises from starting up, growing and thriving.
